রিভিউ করার আগে বলে নিই, আমি সেক্স এডুকেশনের পক্ষে। যদিও আমি তেমন কোনও সেক্স এডুকেশন পাইনি। যা এডুকেশন আকারে পেয়েছিলাম তা ছিল একটা পত্রিকায় বয়ঃসন্ধিকালীন পরিবর্তন বিষয়ক একটা আর্টিকেল। তবে আমি বুকিশ ছিলাম বলে সেটা জানার জন্য আমাকে কখনও চটি পড়তে হয়নি বা পর্ণ দেখতে হয়নি। এমনকি বান্ধবী বা কাজিনদের ফুসুর-ফাসুর থেকেও জানতে হয়নি। নিজ বুদ্ধিতে অনেক কিছুই বুঝে নিয়েছিলাম এবং তার অধিকাংশই সঠিক। সেক্সকে আমার কখনও নোংরা জিনিস ও মনে হয় না এবং আমি জানিই একদিন আমি যদি কাউকে অনেক ভালবাসি এবং কেউ যদি আমা রিভিউ করার আগে বলে নিই, আমি সেক্স এডুকেশনের পক্ষে। যদিও আমি তেমন কোনও সেক্স এডুকেশন পাইনি। যা এডুকেশন আকারে পেয়েছিলাম তা ছিল একটা পত্রিকায় বয়ঃসন্ধিকালীন পরিবর্তন বিষয়ক একটা আর্টিকেল। তবে আমি বুকিশ ছিলাম বলে সেটা জানার জন্য আমাকে কখনও চটি পড়তে হয়নি বা পর্ণ দেখতে হয়নি। এমনকি বান্ধবী বা কাজিনদের ফুসুর-ফাসুর থেকেও জানতে হয়নি। নিজ বুদ্ধিতে অনেক কিছুই বুঝে নিয়েছিলাম এবং তার অধিকাংশই সঠিক। সেক্সকে আমার কখনও নোংরা জিনিস ও মনে হয় না এবং আমি জানিই একদিন আমি যদি কাউকে অনেক ভালবাসি এবং কেউ যদি আমাকে অনেক ভালবাসে তখন প্রকৃতি প্রদত্ত প্রবৃত্তিতেই আমার সাথে ব্যাপারটা ঘটবে। এবং সেক্স এডুকেশনের অভাবে আমি পার্ভাট হয়ে যাই নাই। তবুও আমি সেক্স এডুকেশনের পক্ষে। কারণ আমি স্বাভাবিকভাবে যেকোনো কিছুই শেখার পক্ষে। আর শিক্ষার অভাব সত্ত্বেও নিজে নিজে বুঝে নেবার ব্যাপারটা আমার সাথে যেমন করে ঘটেছে সবার সাথে সেভাবে নাও ঘটতে পারে। খারাপ কন্টেন্টের দিকে ঝুঁকে পার্ভার্টের সংখ্যাবৃদ্ধি হতে পারে। এমন আরও অনেক কারণ রয়েছে। এই বইয়ের টেক্সট যথেষ্ট শিক্ষামূলক এবং বাচ্চাদের বলার উপযোগী করে লেখা। কিন্তু এখানকার ছবিগুলো বেশ ভাল রকমের গ্রস। বেশ কিছু অপ্রয়োজনীয় ন্যুডিটি আছে। খুবই ইমপ্লিসিট একটা নোংরামি এটার মাঝে ঢুকিয়ে দেয়া। আমি এটার কারণ বলে বোঝাতে পারবো না, এটা আমার গাট ফিলিং। এই বইতে যে ছবি ব্যবহার করা হয়েছে এর চেয়ে আরও ডিটেল ছবিও আমার কাছে নোংরা মনে হয় না যখন সেটা শেখানোর জন্য দেয়া হয়। টেক্সট এবং ছবির বিদ্যমান টোনে সামঞ্জস্য না থাকায় পুরো ব্যাপারটার মাঝে আমি একটা ভণ্ডামির গন্ধ পেয়েছি।
বাচ্চাদের কাছে এই ব্যাপারটা খুবই সেনসিটিভ একটা ব্যাপার। এই বইয়ের ছবিগুলো দেখে বাচ্চাদের মনে যদি বাবা-মায়ের এমন ছবি গেঁথে যায় সেটা খুবই খারাপ একটা ব্যাপার হবে। আবার বাচ্চারা সাধারণত এক্সপেরিমেন্টে আগ্রহী হয়, এই বইয়ের ক্ষেত্রে কী হবে বলা মুশকিল। তাই সেনসিটিভ এই ব্যাপারে খুবই যত্ন নিয়ে, কোন বয়সের বাচ্চাকে এটা বলা হবে সেই সিদ্ধান্ত নিয়ে বাচ্চাটির ধারণক্ষমতা অনুসারে এটাকে বাচ্চাদের কাছে আসতে দেয়া উচিত। সেক্ষেত্রে বলবো লেখক যদি নিতান্তই ভণ্ড নাও হয়ে থাকেন তবুও এখানে যথেষ্ট গবেষণা এবং যত্নের অভাব ছিল।

Humour aside information technology's a simple clear guide, but I'm not sure it's one anyone would give to their children. I can more than easily imagine scores of immature children flicking to the rather graphic images for a snicker.
But so funny. It made me laugh.

My parents got me this book when I was 8. I loved it. It explained everything but not in a creepy or scary way.
What the actual pants did I simply...This isn't a terrible book, but information technology's easily one of the most creepily illustrated things I've seen in ages, in an over-cheerful explicit sort of a way. Amend than nothing when it comes to sex-ed, just seriously: Talking down to the audition and ... those drawings. The official howdy world moment has been burned into my encephalon forever.

American society tends to be rather, erm... discreet when information technology comes to discussing sex activity and reproduction and, at least as far as I accept seen in my searches for appropriate kids' literature on the subject, the literature reflects that tendency. (Plain there are more explicit books out there, merely I haven't seen them.) I really constitute this book to exist a rather refreshing change, with far more than detail than is usually provided, and proficient explanations offered at a child's level. Some of the illustrati American society tends to exist rather, erm... unimposing when information technology comes to discussing sex activity and reproduction and, at to the lowest degree as far as I have seen in my searches for appropriate kids' literature on the field of study, the literature reflects that trend. (Apparently there are more than explicit books out at that place, simply I haven't seen them.) I actually plant this book to be a rather refreshing change, with far more detail than is normally provided, and good explanations offered at a child'southward level. Some of the illustrations are a bit airheaded.The recommended age range listed on BN.com is ages 4 to 8, which seems a fleck young for me. I recall my nearly-eight-year-old daughter is just now able to outset to embrace some of these concepts, particularly sexual intercourse. I'm not really set to have that discussion with her still (and I've got to hand it to the kid: she knows when non to probe for more than data than she really wants), but if she did ask, the illustrations in this book would exercise a good job of explaining what really is rather a complex concept for a young child. That said, I don't know that kids nether the age of eight are actually fix for that give-and-take -- it's just too abstract at that point.
Across that, I'yard not quite certain what to say nigh this one except that, having just had a baby, motion-picture show #xviii is cracking me upwardly!!

The wording is rather straightforward throughout this book, which is rather refreshing since many people find sex hard to talk about. The pictures are rather funny and I laughed out loud quite a few times. Non sure i would share this book with my child every bit I think there are more in depth books. However, this is a practiced introduction book for young children around seven years of age.

This is the book I grew upward with. Clear explanation, very matter of fact. I appreciate it for it'due south honesty. Very interesting book. It explains the whole process very well.
This is very weird. I constitute the pictures disgusting even as a child. Just the story was quite adept
The pictures were very foreign and kind of graphic in a way. Though it did provide for a adept laugh, I would probably not want to share this with children any time in my future.
