  • Recommendations for tongue tie specialist

Besides recommend Dr. Siegel. Took both my kids to him, super helpful and cheers to the procedure both went on to nurse without bug.

  • Recommendations for natural language necktie specialist

Nosotros besides went to Dr Siegel and would recommend him. We had my sons tongue tie, lip tie and cheek ties released at two weeks one-time with very picayune trauma. His nurse was very squeamish besides. I retrieve we paid $850 and he does not accept insurance.

  • Recommendations for tongue necktie specialist

I haven't seen all the other responses to this, but we decided on dr. Siegel also and we're happy nosotros went with him. He's expensive, but he's the best. I heard a few unpleasant stories from people who went another road and ended upwards needing to see dr. South in the end anyways.

  • Recommendations for tongue necktie specialist

Nosotros also went to Dr. Siegel for our daughter's ties. I would highly recommend him. He knows what he is doing and also has a great bedside style and calmly explained everything to us in a manner that helped united states of america feel every bit comfortable every bit possible.

https://www.drscottsiegel.com/ did ours when she was a toddler. He used a Laser, no bleeding or downtime.

  • Tongue tie treatment - downsides?

Dr. Siegel took care of our daughter'southward tongue necktie at 12-days-onetime, and we had no regrets. The procedure itself took literally less than 30 seconds.

  • Review from the 2020 Birthing Experience Survey

Oral surgeon, Dr. Scott Siegel for natural language tie. He's the dr. that does the almost of these procedures. He's pricey, but I've heard stories of parents going to other doctors and and then having to get to him months later to have things fixed. He saw four ties (my ped and lc only noticed the one) and fixed them in nearly 30 seconds with a laser (no claret). Afterward a month of farthermost hurting and no weight gain, she was all fixed up and we never looked back!! I now have a sturdy baby and we both dear nursing :).

  • Pediatric Dentist for Infant/Possible Tongue Tie

Another recommendation for Dr. Siegel here. We had a great feel as well.

  • Pediatric Dentist for Baby/Possible Tongue Necktie

We used Siegel too, and the OOP price was at least lxxx% reimbursed by my insurance. He just doesn't bill insurance because...why would he?! But that doesn't hateful you don't accept out of network benefits, and then def. worth checking.

  • Pediatric Dentist for Baby/Possible Tongue Necktie

I highly recommend Dr. Scott Siegel, ‭(212) 204-7923, https://www.drscottsiegel.com/. My daughter had both a tongue tie and lip tie and was latching poorly and lost a lot of weight so we had to have the ties stock-still. Dr. Siegel performed laser surgery on her when she was only a few weeks erstwhile and her latch profoundly improved and she's at present healthfully gaining weight. He has offices in the metropolis and Huntington, but when nosotros saw him the office in the urban center was closed due to the pandemic. Note: He doesn't seem to have any insurance so the cost will likely be out of pocket. We paid $875 but felt it was completely worth it.

  • Tongue Tie: Wait it out or non?

Our baby was diagnosed with a tongue/lip tie and we were referred past both my lactation consultant and pediatrician (separately), to have it corrected past Dr. Scott Siegel in Huntington, LI (he usually has a Manhattan office as well only closed temporarily due to CO-VID). He is not covered past insurance and it cost $875 but we are so glad nosotros went to him. He has an amazing reputation in the field and performs the process with laser which we heard is more effective than the scissor technique. It was quick and seemed pretty painless for our son and the visit to the role couldn't have gone more smoothly. Everyone was extremely professional and took every precaution to maintain a make clean and well sterilized environment for their patients (all paperwork submitted electronically beforehand, ane patient in office at a fourth dimension and cleaned in between appointments, masks, gloves, etc). After the procedure, all follow up is done via pictures and texts directly with Dr. Siegel. Overall i highly recommend and feel free to contact me with whatsoever other questions. Wishing them all the best!

  • Tongue Tie - Recommendation?

We saw Dr. Siegel at 3 months. In that location was no incertitude our son had ties but was feeding ok so nosotros waited information technology out...we ended up having the procedure done for the supply reasons yous described. We did have to drive out to LI to meet him but according to our tie-savvy lactation consultant and New York natural language tie group on Facebook he's the best of the best. He provided tons of support for us after the procedure and I know he has told people if the process isn't necessary.

  • Tongue Procedures and Doctors - delight share your wisdom!

We saw Dr. Scott Siegel for the light amplification by stimulated emission of radiation procedure and cannot recommend him highly enough. Based on my conversations with other parents, I think the laser process is preferable. I know babies who had to have the procedure re-washed afterward the scissors release grew dorsum. It's very uncomfortable for babies so I would do everything to avoid needing the process a second time effectually. Inside two weeks of having the procedure, my husband and I felt like we had a completely different baby. Our son was less fussy and could finally suck commonly. He still struggles to suck on bottles and pacifiers, but breastfeeding has improved significantly and he tin self-soothe much more finer.

  • Alternating dr. to Dr. Dahl for Tongue Necktie

I and many others ship new parents to Dr. Siegel http://world wide web.drscottsiegel.com/ for tongue tie issues.

  • Alternate physician to Dr. Dahl for Tongue Tie

Dr.Siegel. He corrected a previous release done by Dr Dahl for my girl. We've since gone back to him for our son's tongue and lips ties and I tin can't recommend him highly enough.

  • Alternate doctor to Dr. Dahl for Tongue Necktie

I second Dr Siegel. He did my daughter's missed ties (for speech) when she was almost a toddler. He was amazing!

  • Alternate doctor to Dr. Dahl for Tongue Necktie

I highly recommend Dr Scott Siegel for this! We had the process with him a few weeks ago and he is first-class (he uses a CO2 laser so minimal to no bleeding) and he is probably the most experienced and credentialed doctor in NYC (or perchance even in the US) for this procedure and issue. I really heard from a lactation consultant that his piece of work has been more than successful than Dr Dahl's in her feel. You may need to work with a lactation consultant afterwards to help with suck retraining exercises in improver to the mail-process stretching that the doctor volition show y'all.

  • ENT recs for frenulum prune

Dr. Scott Siegel is an Oral Surgeon not ENT and cannot say enough good things almost him. He was one of the few professionals out of many to identify that my son was not only tongue tied but lip tied as well! Our son was already a few months old by the time we came to Dr. Siegel and had dropped from 45th percentile to 1st percentile. As I tearily explained the stress and trauma of our son continuing to not nurse and continued lack of growth Dr. Siegel was the one to perfectly clear that our baby'south needs weren't being met, thereby validating my personal feelings that something had indeed been wrong all forth. He has a very kind bedside manner and although I was very worried about doing the procedure, Dr Siegel uses laser (this minimizes chance of reattachment) and it is super fast under 1 min. Knowing all I know at present I would not take my kids to anyone but Dr. Siegel. Practiced luck!-

  • Review submitted via the 2016 Nascency Survey

He took intendance of our sons (posterior) tongue- and lip tie. Nice and efficiently. Pricey though, just information technology was worth information technology. Based on Apr 2016 Nascency Experience
